Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities, in line with Kenya’s Persons with Disabilities Act, 2025. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

What we have done

• Text and background colours meet WCAG AA contrast ratios on every page.
• Images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• The website works with a keyboard and has a “Skip to content” link.
• The photo slider does not move on its own.
• Pages adapt to phones and tablets, and text can be enlarged.
• Nothing on the website flashes, and pages load quickly on slow connections.

Known limitations

• The website has not yet been tested by people who use assistive technology.
